Confession: I've never read The Bell Jar. I know, it's another strike against my English Major card. But I half-own a really pretty edition of it so that counts for something right?
I'm also a huge notebook fiend. Since starting college, one of my goals tends to be to find some kind of nerdy, quirky notebook. but I sure as hell will never say no to a book promo notebook. So, when I was offered a chance to participate in a campaign for a retelling of The Bell Jar that heavily relied on a notebook...I said I'll give it a go.
It's since become my go to notebook. It's small, as you can kinda see, and easy to carry around. We've gone on adventures - to the Poconos, to Paneras, to Penn Station. In fact, it was the only thing I could write in while I was on vacation and getting a phone call about my internship interview, and therefore my first journal entry is actually a bunch of notes about HR and instructions and other odds and ends. I'm not gonna share that page with you.
But, I will be journaling, just as Jam and the other residents of The Wooden Barn do. It probably won't be as entertaining or intense as Jam's journal, but I'll do my best to bring the angst and gossip...or my notes from class. Because today's also my first day of classes so...
I'll be sharing whatever pops up in this notebook on my Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #FallintoBelzhar for the rest of the month, leading up to Belzhar's release on September 30.
But I won't be alone in this. A number of bloggers and vloggers are joining in the journaling craze!
